Hello! I'm Cai Sepulis, I'm an artist living outside Toronto, Canada. I muse, draw and create.
Periodicai is my documentation blog – daily sketches, architectural design, philosophic thought, DIY on-goings, silkscreening and illustrations – ideas that may not relate to my everyday work in advertising and branding. I love scheming ideas & problem solving.

Found an old X-ray box for cheap while doing some thrift shopping. Currently filled with some acetates from silk screening to make a wicked kitchen wall light.

This isn’t my own DIY but how amazing is this cake that cake artist Emily Heck made for my birthday based on my own art!

I had an old broken sled in the basement collecting dust while I figured out what to do with it. Simple and useful: Vintage sled turned into magazine rack and wooden bin. #upcycle #diy

These turned out great. Mounted and installed some of my prints in the student lounge of the hospital thanks to the Foundation of the Guelph General.

Went on a lovely walk in the woods, built a wreath for my front door along the way.

I was in Elora this evening to see my original piece I illustrated for the Elora Tarot Card Project (three of wands) hanging at the opening. It was really incredible to see all the pieces together and know how much care and effort that the organizer, Shelley Carter, put into the project.

Oh hanging gardens. I made this plant stand that doubles as a room divider today out of cedar to hold some climbing plants. Hopefully the plants take (I opted for some more flowery rather than known climbing variety). I’m hoping it will create a beautiful mobile living wall/partition that I can assist by moving into the sunlit room. I also uploaded the sketch that I drew this morning.

A reminder to myself after a lovely eve in my kayak. Be present.

Some exciting finds at a friend’s studio clean out: old typewriter keys, film reel, antlers, brass hotel room tags, stamps…will have to think of something good to do with all of it! I also go two antique toboggans!
